Bulber Youth Orchestra is a tax exempt non-profit organization and is dependent on support from outside sources. Your donations help buy new music and equipment for the group throughout the year. Due to recent state cuts in funding for the arts we have suffered a grant decrease of over 70%. We have never needed public support more than we do now. Please consider our programs as you dedicate your charitable giving in 2010. We can be reached at 337-433-6020 or 1001 Ryan Street, Suite 117, Lake Charles, LA 70601. Our MissionWhen music and the human spirit connect, the lives of mankind and womankind are enriched. It is the mission of the Dr. Francis G. Bulber Youth Orchestra, founded in August of 1994, to teach about great music and its role in human history as well as to teach applied music by providing educational and performance experiences in an orchestral environment.
