Required Scales:

VIOLIN – D Major, 2 or 3 octaves

Second Scale of choice

VIOLA / CELLO – C Major

Second Scale of choice

DOUBLE BASS – A major

Second Scale of choice

WINDS / BRASS – Required Scale B Flat

LITERATURE------ One piece of choice;

One of sight-reading

NEWSFLASH!!!!

MIDSUMMER MUSIC MADNESS REVIEW

What a great summer program. We had more children register this year than ever before.The June camp went well, and the July camp was even more awesome. We really liked the changes we made to the concert finale. It allowed the younger students to observe the more advanced students perform.
We really want to thank Karen Gunter, and Sarah Todd, their helping hands made this program possible. And what would we do without our teachers:

Don Johnson
Sheri Greening
Chris Gunter
Katie Evans
All of you were wonderful. Your patience and skill are such an asset to our organization. We would also like to send a special thank you to Sarah Hoefer. A lovely girl and a talented violinist who gave up her vacation in order to volunteer with us during our July camp.

When music and the human spirit connect, the lives of mankind and womankind are enriched. It is the mission of the Dr. Francis G. Bulber Youth Orchestra, founded in August of 1994, to teach about great music and its role in human history as well as to teach applied music by providing educational and performance experiences in an orchestral environment.
